Great Results once again this weekend !

We had another great week of racing with races all over the country and World.....

Hungarian National Champ - Olympic Distance

Just have a Facebook info but Jozsef Major finished 3rd Overall ! I know short distance is not the Ironman Champ "forte" so it was a very impressive result.

New York City Triathlon

Mike Johnston was 3rd on the PC division and Qualified for Worlds in Hungary !!!! Tough field but Mike proved he can now duel with the "big boys" ! Great job Mike !

Chris Chandler was 5th on the PC division and ALSO qualified for Worlds!!! - Another AMAZING result for Chris especially RIGHT after Ironman CDA. Chris showed what he can race fast even with tired legs. Proud of you Chris!

Chelanman Triathlon (Washington)

Leigh Stiekema - 2nd AG. Great result for Leigh, very close to win this time
Paul Stiekema - 10th Overal and 4th AG. I guess it does not get any easier as we get older

Strawberry Fields Triathlon

Steve Sutherland - Despite a rough swim, Steve placed 6th on his AG with a strong bike and a PR run !!!! Run is coming along as we predicted Steve, awesome job my friend!!!

Stamford Tri - CT

Unfortunately it turned to a Duathlon, not Kelli Montgomery (swimming background) preferred race choice, but it was not enough to defeat her!

Kelli finished 4th Overall (including all men!) and 1st overall female bringing home $200! Not bad for a mom with full time job, uh?

Vineman 70.3:

Carl Eibl - FIRST season and 3rd race ever! Our 50 years young friend finished with a impressive 5:35 !!!!

Congratulations Carl !!! I know we will see more great races form you !

Thank you all for training and racing hard and most importantly,  for believing in me and my coaching! As always I'm very proud of you and I know we will see more and more great results from everyone !

I used to train in the "grey zone" every workout and I was flat for years. Now that I train smart with Sergio I've pulled my 10k triathlon run time under 34 minutes. What a difference it makes to go slow when you're supposed to go slow.
