At the very tough Silverman Half Ironman this weekend. Our athlete Ki Song not only placed 5th on his AG and 57th overall but also PR in all 3 sports! Ki showed that he can get faster even getting older :)

Our athlete Jozsef Major, despite recovering from a bike crash that left him with a broken nose, hand, teeth, rib and dislocated shoulder, managed to place 2nd Overall at the SOMA Half Ironman in Tempe Az. With only 3 weeks of training, Jozsef now feel confident to attempt Ironman Az on November 22. Way to go Jozsef !

Now our GROUP WORKOUTS are back to the - JCC - Jewish Community Center in La Jolla that provides free parking, bike trainers and spin bikes. JCC offer to X Team athletes a special membership price to use the facilities that includes a 50m pool and their amazing fitness room, locker rooms with showers and you can use their amazing weight training room as well !.

Also we have a Triathlon Swim specific workout /Stroke analysis  every other Saturday at 3pm.

Group workouts:

Tuesday at 6:15 am  - Race simulation BRICK (Bike/Run) workouts where you'll develop speed and pain threshold needed for your races. All levels of abilities are welcome. Workouts are designed with the athlete in mind from short to long distance. Drop in fee available for $10

Thursday at 6:15 am  - Run group workout with focus on technique, speed and motor skills development. Drop in fee available for $10

Saturday at 3pm  - Swim workout specifically for triathlon. Here you'll only swim freestyle used for your race. Swim right = Get fast ! Drop in fee available for $10
