Mel Lipsey wins 60-64 AG !!!
Mel Lipsey just won his age group at the Half Ironman in Calgary this weekend ! Despite dealing with hamstring injury, Mel hang tough on the run to beat second place by 12 seconds !!!! Way to go Mel !!!
 
Marisa wins the Aquatlhon!
Marisa Rastetter won her first Aquathlon last Thursday in La Jolla, Ca. Despite heavy legs from Ironman Canada training, a strong swim followed by a fast 5k run got her the overall title.
 
Darlene wins Camp Pendleton Intl.
Great results this weekend at Camp Pendleton Intl Triathlon in Oceanside. Darlene Hunt crushed the competition to win the overall title with a PR of 2:14. Grep Price was 4th overall only a minute from first and 20s from second place! Greg won the military division with a large margin. Debbie Fritzer was 2nd on her AG, Jerry Buscheff was 5th, coach Sergio Borges was 2nd, and many more outstanding results form our athletes.

Sergio, being on the podium at Wildflower was the highlight of 2011 for me and one of the biggest accomplishment in 8 years of racing.
